Michael Rawlinson
Michael has over thirty years of abstinence-based living. For the last twelve of those years practicing as a leading therapist specialising in addictions. Qualified in conducting assessment pre-treatment, facilitating group therapy, case management, problem resolution, relapse prevention, treatment planning and individual counselling.
In recent times Michael has broadcasted on addiction issues both clinical and societal. Michael is a multi-episode contributor to the triple award-winning BBC podcast series, focussing on addiction, ‘Hooked-the unexpected addicts’ and have made frequent specialist contributions to BBC/ITV programmes. He has been an advisor to the writers and producers of BBC Radio 4’s-The Archers and ITV’s Emmerdale., and has appeared in the Channel4 documentary: Will Young Losing my Twin.
His experience and advice is valued by the business, parliamentary and medical communities alike.
